Pricing & Currency

Currency & Taxes

All costs are quoted in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at the time of invoicing depending on jurisdiction.

Quote Validity

Pricing and timing estimates are valid for 60 days from the date of the quote. After this period, figures may require revision to reflect current conditions.

Scope Dependency

All estimates are based on the project scope, survey materials, and details provided by the client at the time of quoting. Changes to final specifications may result in revised pricing.

Payment Terms

Active Client Billing

Invoices for active clients are due net 30 days, provided the account remains current and in good standing.

Overdue Finance Charges

Any unpaid invoice is subject to a 2% monthly finance charge on the outstanding balance.

Honorarium Timing

Direct respondent honorariums (where applicable) are payable upon study confirmation. The remaining balance is due net 30 days.

Delivery Invoice

Invoicing occurs at 100% upon database delivery or end of field. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

Fieldwork & Sample Conditions

Final costs and feasibility are subject to real-world field conditions. The following factors may trigger pricing or scope
adjustments.

Incidence Rate
Estimates assume the quoted incidence. If actual incidence falls below expectations, Progresso reserves the right to reduce sample size and/or increase cost per interview.
Interview Length
Pricing is based on the quoted maximum interview length. Changes during fielding — including drop rates or extended LOI — may result in cost revisions.
Quota Modifications
Changes to quotas, deliverable timelines, or field modifications after launch may affect both pricing and delivery timing.
Panel & Tech Factors
Feasibility is reduced if multiple panels requiring deduplication are involved, or if tech requirements (e.g., flash, speakers) or device exclusions (e.g., mobile) apply.

Data Quality & Rejections

Open-End Rejections

Responses rejected on the basis of open-end junk or gibberish may be reconciled at end of field, provided the client shares the specific bad responses for each rejected complete.

Maximum Rejection Rate

Without validated bad-data documentation, the maximum allowable rejection rate is 5% of all registered completes. All remaining completes will be invoiced.

PII Restrictions

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) cannot be collected without prior written consent from Progresso Research. Collection of PII will materially affect feasibility and pricing.

Survey Content

Progresso Research reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any survey deemed to contain profane, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise unacceptable material.

All technical requirements must be confirmed prior to field launch. Progresso will supply exit links for completed, terminated, and over-quota respondents upon project acceptance. A live quota report link with detail per stratum is required throughout fieldwork.

Closeout & Reconciliation

Field period ends; final data delivery initiated.

Changes, Cancellation & Postponement

Specification Changes
Any change to project specifications will trigger a revised cost quotation. No changes take effect without written agreement from both parties.
Cancellation
Upon formal written notice of cancellation, the client agrees to compensate Progresso Research for all services rendered or in progress. A detailed cost listing will be provided.
Postponement
Postponement carries the same compensation obligation as cancellation for work already underway at the time of formal notice.

Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Mutual Confidentiality

Both parties acknowledge that methods, procedures, software, proposals, marketing plans, and similar proprietary information are confidential. Such information may not be resold, syndicated, or disclosed to any third party without advance written consent.

Proposal Confidentiality

The contents of any proposal issued by Progresso Research are proprietary and provided to the client for internal use only. No data or documents will be published without the client's express permission.

Respondent Confidentiality

The identity of individual respondents – including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses – is strictly protected. Progresso Research does not disclose this information to any third party.

Use of Progresso Name

Advance written approval is required before using the Progresso Research name in any public release of data or in substantiation of advertising claims.

Limitation of Liability

Industry Standards
Research data is collected and produced in accordance with generally accepted industry standards. Progresso Research makes no additional warranties, express or implied.
Exclusion of Consequential Damages
Progresso Research shall not be liable for lost profits, revenues, or any consequential, special, or indirect damages arising from use of the data provided.
Maximum Liability Cap
Total liability for any client claim is limited to $500 USD or the fees paid to Progresso Research, whichever is less.
Limitation Period
No action arising from this agreement (except recovery of fees owed) may be brought more than one year after the cause of action first arose.
